So, you’re thinking about getting your eyebrows microbladed, but have all these unanswered questions and concerns floating around in your head?? I’ve put together a range of questions and answers I also wanted to know before I first had mine microbladed over 6 years ago….
How long does it last?
Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 3 years for most people, depending on skin type and aftercare, a top up is usually needed between 12-18 months as some fading of the pigment will occur.
Does it hurt?
Most clients report little or no pain! Topical anaesthetics can be used before + during the procedure to numb the area.
What is the price?
£195 including a top up. I’ve been trained by the best at K B Pro, fully licensed and insured. Please do your homework on this don’t go to just anyone. I’ll be running offers and giveaways on Facebook + Instagram. Click the social links after to follow for all the latest news and updates.
How long is the appointment?
Your first initial treatment can be between 2-3 hours, with most of the time spent discussing pigment colours and creating the correct eyebrow shape for your face shape. Every step is carefully discussed to ensure you are happy. The microblading itself is approx 30-40mins.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Before your appointment, have in mind the style of eyebrow you want so we can discuss this during the consultation and you are happy with the end result. 24-48hrs before the treatment it’s recommended to avoid aspirin, all caffeine drinks, blood thinners, and using retinol creams.
How long does it take to heal?
In the first 7-10 days, you'll need to avoid getting them wet. This means no steam rooms, saunas or a sweaty gym session, is a no go! It takes about 30 days for the skin to completely heal, in which time you may experience mild itching + scabbing. Full details of the healing process can be found here.
What is the aftercare?
Stay out of the sun and water while your microblading heals. Avoid chlorine, exfoliation creams, and sun exposure; they may cause your colour to fade. I recommend applying a small amount of Aquaphor twice a day. This is given to you in your complimentary aftercare kit. Read more about aftercare here.
When should I get a top up? How much is it?
Between 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment. After that, if you miss your appointment within the time frame I may charge a fee. The top up is always included in my pricing. Unless coming for your yearly touch up this is all made clear on my treatments page.
Can I get microblading while pregnant?

Can I get permanent makeup if I have botox/fillers?
It is recommended that you get semi permanent makeup first. Please also consult your aesthetics practitioner.
Will microblading stop my natural eyebrow hair growth?
Microblading does not generally have an effect on your natural hair growth. The procedure does not prevent any progressive hair loss or encourage the growth of new hair either. Microblading incorporates your own hair flow for a more natural look.
Will I still need to pluck/wax my natural brows?
Your natural eyebrow hairs will continue to grow outside the pigmented area applied through microblading. This means that you will still need to pluck the occasional stray hair, depending on your own hair growth. If you have rather bushy brows, then you may have to have these waxed every so often. Fortunately, microblading provides you with the perfect brow shape and template to follow.
Can microblading hide/cover my scars?
Yes, however please contact me beforehand and send a photo of your eyebrows so I can assess and let you know if it will be suitable for you.
What is the difference between microblading vs micropigmentation?
Microblading, is a hand tool used to draw individual hair strokes. Micropigmentation specialists use a semi permanent makeup machine, which offers less control and results in blurrier strokes.
Does it look like real hair?
Yes, the hair strokes are hand drawn individually giving the most natural look you can achieve using semi permanent makeup.
Will it save me time?
Yes, no more drawing your eyebrows on every morning!! This treatment is going to transform your life! That's why I’m so passionate about this procedure.
